“Helping People Find Hope and Healing”
Celebrate Recovery started at Saddleback Church in 1991, and is now being used in over 22,000 churches worldwide.
Ridge-Meadows Celebrate Recovery has been serving our community for 11 years. In the last year alone our amazing leaders and volunteers have provided hope, acceptance, compassion and love to over 2500 guests.
Celebrate Recovery addresses all types of hurts, hang-ups and habits. At the present time, only one out of three who attend Celebrate Recovery are dealing with alcohol and drugs. They are dealing with other issues such as dysfunctional relationships, financial recovery, grief, eating disorders, abuse or depression. We have seen lives changed in dramatic ways. By working through the program, we experience freedom and this freedom creates peace, serenity, joy, and most importantly, a stronger personal relationship with others and our personal, loving, and forgiving Higher Power, Jesus Christ.
Celebrate Recovery is for the whole family. We provide childcare for preschool kids, a program for kids aged 5 – 13 and a youth program too.
We are so grateful to Maple Ridge Baptist Church for supporting Celebrate Recovery and providing a “home” for our growing ministry. We meet every Monday night starting the evening at 6:00 pm with dinner in the lower auditorium. Then at 7:00 we have the general meeting which starts with worship followed by teaching a lesson or sharing a life story. At around 8:00 we break into gender specific share groups that meet in rooms throughout the church. We also provide a Newcomers’ group for those attending for the first time.
We come together at the end of the evening for coffee in the lobby. The purpose of Celebrate Recovery is to encourage fellowship and to Celebrate God’s healing power in our lives.
