As of Wednesday, June 25th, the province of BC entered into Phase 3 of the governments restart plan. In accordance to our governemnts guidelines we have plans to open up our Auditorium to our pre-recorded Sunday Services starting July 5th. We will keep our numbers to below 50 people in the lower section of the auditorium and will require registration for the Sunday Service you are wanting to attend. We are so excited to start meeting together again in this way - and can't wait to see the wonderful faces that belong to our church community.
We will still be producing our Sunday Services for our online COMMUNITY - and encouraging our church to consider meeting together in small groups around the city to watch at 10AM. We will continue to have a pre-service "foyer" time at 9:45AM for announcements and chats around this new phase we are entering into!
Being Engaged in COMMUNITY is one of the visions of our church because community is at the heart of how people grow in relationship with Jesus and His church!
“Let us think of ways to stir up one another to acts of love and good works. And let us not neglect to meet together, as some people do, but encourage one another.” Hebrews 10:24-25
Q: Would you either host a few folks at your home or be a guest at someone else’s and be in COMMUNITY on Sunday mornings?
At MRBC, we believe the next generation matters. Even though we can't meet together, we can still learn together in community! We have put together resources for parents to keep the next generation growing in their faith.
Over three years ago we began our Building Campaign to see our exterior updated for both aesthetic and functional reasons. We have raised over $1,000,000 towards this campaign and on Thursday May 14th - we were so excited to announce that our Building Permit was approved and we are starting our tendering phase! We will be updating you on this building project as we go - via Instagram (see link below) and want to thank our congregation for the support - both through prayer and also financially. We are so excited to be Building for the Future - so that our city would know JESUS!
We here at the church want to make sure you can stay connected to the HOPE we have in Jesus - especially during this uncertain time. Please sign up to our newsletter to keep in touch and to engage online with us in areas of Care Resources and RidgeKids Resources.
We are currently hosting both on-line and smaller in-person events.
